- Before Buying Tip: This adapter is only applicable for Tesla vehicles with enabled CCS. Please upgrade CCS activation before using this adapter. Any Tesla built before October 2020 requires ECU modification to enable CCS. If you encounter issues with the CCS adapter, check the car's ECU retrofit. Vehicles manufactured before 2017-2018 need to upgrade the charging version on the official Tesla website.
- Optimized Design for Peak Performance: Our engineers have meticulously restructured the internal terminals based on the original Tesla CCS adapter design, ensuring top-notch efficiency. The main terminal’s thickness has been increased from 8mm to 10mm, enhancing conductivity while maintaining a compact and user-friendly design.
- Material Innovation for Cost Efficiency: By strategically trimming 60% off the original terminal design and adding a substantial 8μ layer of pure silver coating (increased from the standard 5μ), we’ve managed to save on material costs without compromising on performance. This makes the CCS Junior not just reliable but also remarkably affordable.
- Advanced Safety Features: Safety is our top priority. CCS adapter is equipped with dual temperature control protectors to prevent overheating during charging. In extreme conditions, these protectors will initiate current limiting or shut off power completely, ensuring the safety of your vehicle, the charging station, and most importantly, yourself.
- Superior Insulation for Added Security: Unlike other models that use gasket-style insulation, the CCS adapter employs a fully insulated injection molding solution between the positive and negative terminals, significantly enhancing the safety and durability of the adapter.
- Reliable and Affordable: EngingGear stands for engineering excellence and affordable gear. The CCS adapter embodies this philosophy, providing a dependable charging solution at a price that won’t break the bank. Trust in EngingGear for all your EV charging needs.
