Circles - The Trilogy, (Paperback)

He just stopped to be a Good Samaritan and help someone with a broken shopping bag. The surging crowds on the platform were almost trampling the woman, and she was in danger of losing her groceries. He didn't even notice how beautiful she was until afterwards, and when she invited him for a drink, it seemed churlish to turn her down - after all, she only wanted to thank him...... How could Gerry have possibly known that a simple gesture of kindness would lead him to.....well, unthinkable. He was about to make the biggest mistake of his life that would haunt him and cause him unspeakable guilt and anguish. And, how long would it be before other people started making connections. As the action of The Trilogy swings from England to Vancouver and back to the British seaside, readers' sympathies swing first with Fran, then with the tormented Gerry, and finally with the resourceful Stephanie. Never has the fragility of family life been so deftly described. As Gerry's brother says - "The truth will out".
