| Food preparation tips | STOVE TOP COOKING: Rinse measured rice 1 to 2 time throughly. Place 1 cup of rice and 2 cup of water in a sauce pan. Add salt to taste. Bring to a vigorous boil. Stir and redice heat to a medium and let simmer covered for 8-10 minutes. Remove from heat, let stir covered for 5-10 minutes. Fluff with fork and serve. MICROWAVE COOKING: Rinse measured rice 1 to 2 time throughly. Place 1 cup of rice and 2 cup of water in a microwave-safe bowl. Add salt to taste. Covered tightly with plastic wrap. Cook on high setting for 6-8 minute. Carefully remove the plastic wrap, and continue to cook for another 8-10 minutes at MEDIUM setting, stir rice from time to time. Remove from microwave and let it covered for 5-10 minutes. Fluff with fork and serve. ELECTRIC RICE COOKER: Rinse measured rice 1 to 2 time throughly. Place 1 cup of rice and 2 cup of water in the eletric rice cooker. Add salt to taste. Covered the cooker, turn it on and cook for 14-16 minutes. Fluff with fork and serve. |
