- Scientifically Calibrated 500 ng/mL Cutoff: Our high-sensitivity test strips are calibrated to detect Ethyl Glucuronide (ETG), a direct metabolite of alcohol, at a 500 ng/mL cutoff. This precision significantly reduces the chance of false positives from incidental exposure to alcohol-based hand sanitizers, mouthwashes, or cleaning products.
- Extended Yet Variable Detection Window: This test is designed to detect alcohol consumption for an extended period after drinking. The detection window typically ranges from 24 to 80 hours, depending on key factors: the amount of alcohol consumed, your individual metabolism, body hydration, and frequency of use. For heavy consumption, detection may reach the longer end of the window.
- Lab-Reliable Accuracy for Non-Lab Settings: In laboratory control studies, this strip demonstrated over 99% accuracy in detecting ETG. Each strip is individually foil-sealed with desiccant protectors to ensure humidity resistance, delivering lab-grade quality for workplace, rehab, probation, or home use.
- Easy & Clear 3-Step Testing Process: (1) Dip the strip in urine for 10 seconds. (2) Lay it flat for 5 minutes. (3) Read the results: Two lines = No ETG detected (Negative). One line = ETG detected (Positive). Includes illustrated instructions in English.
- Understand Your Results: This test detects the metabolite ETG, not direct alcohol. For the most accurate results, use your first-morning urine when ETG concentration is highest. Please note: a negative result may indicate that ETG levels are below the detection threshold, which can occur due to rapid metabolism, light drinking, or high hydration levels.
