- Value Package Includes: You will get 72 1.2-inch rock wool cubes and 56 2-inch net cups. This is a pretty good starter kit for someone wanting to get started in aquaponics or hydroponics. The rock wool helps hold in moisture, and the pots give it stability and transportability. This will help yields and sprouting time.
- Quality Material: This rockwool is a very effective hydroponics supply, made of high-quality basalt, centrifuged at high speed to form fibers after being melted at high temperature, and compressed into blocks through proprietary process, soft and even texture, good water absorption and strong air permeability. The mesh cups are made of high quality plastic with ductility, sturdy and durable.
- How to Use: Please devide the rockwool into cubes as needs with a scissor before soaking. Then simply soak the cubes briefly (10 sec) in a nutrient solution to adjust its EC and pH value to the range required by your seeds. Then wait for the seeds to take root and germinate. The roots out of the holes in the netting cups and begin to absorb the nutrient solution below. then you're ready to start growing them soilless.
- Application: These small hydroponic pods are ideal for quickly cloning plants that you will repot, or starting seeds that you will replant as seedlings. This can be used indoors under a grow light, or outside. This would be a good gift for anyone starting out with hydroponics, any parent who wants to teach their kids about cloning plants or growing seeds, or anyone with a small patio garden.
- Warm Tips: It is advisable to wear gloves and possibly a mask when handling rock wool. Because the whole cube will get re-planted with the plant to avoid damaging the growing roots, you can reuse the plastic net cups, but not the rockwool cubes.
