- THE IAG PERFORMANCE V2 OIL PICKUP - Oil pickups are a critical failure point in the EJ25 engines, especially when pushing your car to its limits. The OEM pickups are known to crack and fail, leading to severe engine damage or even catastrophic failure. The IAG Performance Oil Pickup for the 2002-2014 WRX, 2004-2021 STI, 2005-2009 LGT and 2004-2013 FXT models is designed to solve this issue altogether. With an enhanced design that increases strength and durability, it offers a dependable solution to the common problems with OEM oil pickups. IAG’s Oil Pickup will keep your engine performing at its best, no matter how hard you drive.
- PERFORMS UNDER PRESSURE - The IAG Performance Version 2 Oil Pickup is a significant upgrade over the OEM EJ25 oil pickup. Factory pickups are well-known for their tendency to crack, resulting in catastrophic engine failure due to oil pressure loss. Our redesigned stainless steel version addresses this common issue, offering superior durability and reliability. Built to withstand the rigors of high-performance driving, this upgraded pickup stands up under pressure, minimizing the risk of cracking and failure.
- STAINLESS STEEL CONSTRUCTION - To prevent the cracking issues common with OEM oil pickups, this was crafted from stainless steel tubing that is twice as thick as the factory design. It also has a precision-machined 3/8" stainless steel flange that is sealed with a Viton O-ring for a secure connection to the block. The reinforced stainless steel bracket uses 2 mounting points for added stability, compared to the 1-point design of the OEM version. Also, the oil pickup features a formed bottom with an OEM style mesh screen for reliable filtration. The combination of thicker materials & a 2-point mounting bracket ensures this pickup won't fatigue or fail over time like its OEM counterpart.
- IAG VS. OEM - Since the oil pickup is responsible for delivering oil to the rest of the engine, its reliable performance is vital. The IAG Performance Oil Pickup surpasses the OEM version in several key ways. Here are the key improvements that set it apart: Pickup features stainless steel tubing that is 2x thicker than OEM. Two-point heavy-duty mounting bracket provides a sturdy stand to hold the pickup solidly in place. Precision TIG-welded construction ensures a durable bond while maintaining a sleek, professional finish.
- STRAIGHTFORWARD INSTALLATION - The IAG Performance V2 Oil Pickup is specifically designed to mount seamlessly to the inlet of your 2002-2014 WRX, 2004-2021 STI, 2005-2009 LGT and 2004-2013 FXT engine block in the original factory position. It includes all the necessary mounting bolts and an o-ring for a straightforward installation—no engine modifications or extra parts are required. If you’re seeking a reliable way to enhance the protection and longevity of your engine, IAG’s Oil Pickup is the ideal solution.
