Kelsey Carlson Charming Christmas 24 Fat Quarters Riley Blake Designs FQ-16350-24

Fabric bundle of 24 18-inch by 22-inch fat quarters from the Charming Christmas collection by designer Kelsey Carlson for Riley Blake Designs. When I was a little girl we used to make Christmas gingerbread houses from scratch with my grandmas every year. She would make the best smelling homemade gingerbread. My job was to help roll out dough and cut the house shapes. Grandmas would let us use the extra dough to make cute little gingerbread cookies. After everything was baked and cooled we would decorate the houses intricately with loads of pretty piped white royal icing and red and green candy. We always placed a cute Santa by the door, candy canes on the rooftop and bottle brush Christmas tress int he fluffy royal icing lawn. I loved leaving gingerbread cookies and milk for Santa, and listening for the reindeer on Christmas Eve. These days I get to experience even more Christmas magic with my own kids, making our own gingerbread houses, decorating the tree, wrapping pretty presents and helping them hang their stockings with care. I hope all the projects you create with these prints remind you a bit of the charm of your own magical Christmases.
