Love Noir (Paperback)

In Richard H. Dickinson's Love Noir, readers are drawn immediately into the unspeakable. Beginning with Eric Duval, a French political powerhouse, and his incestuous relationship with his daughter, Margaux, the story builds in tension as Duval takes a wife and his unstable teenage daughter turns to murder. From her lustful and loneliness-driven childhood to an adult life of deception and self destruction, Margaux engages the reader, evoking equal amounts of anger, rage, and compassion. Dickinson extends the tension level of his gritty story with a computer hacker who stumbles upon family secrets ripe for blackmail. As the plot twists and turns, readers discover a world as foreign as it is fascinating: France's beautiful and powerful, willing to do what it takes to save reputation and family honor. This story holds amorality, murder, and redemption, everything required to constitute a thriller of a love story.
