- ALWAYS HANDMADE - Each bead and every product are made by hand from made by Ugandan women, and most are hand crafted by women in our Jinja women's group .
- PREMIUM QUALITY - Each bead is carefully crafted so it can be easily threaded and used in jewelry making and other creations, such as bracelets necklaces and earrings. They are all carefully inspected and tested in both Uganda and in our Colorado office to make sure the bead has the correct hole size, shape and color.
- UPCYCLED & ECO-FRIENDLY - Beads are made from recycled magazine paper and are the color of the original printed paper, often including flecking and markings which were the writing on that paper
- DO GOOD, FEEL GOOD - We are a U.S. nonprofit helping Ugandans earn a living so they can support their families. We pay each artisan a fair trade price so she can buy food, help send her children to school and start or grow her own business in Uganda. All items ship with a gift bag and card about the women who make the beads
- 100% SATISFACTION GUARANTEE – We stand behind our work and know you will love it! If for any reason you are not satisfied with your purchase we offer hassle-free returns and exchanges within 30 days of purchase.
