Shaded

"For you have been a refuge for the poor, a refuge for the needy in their distress, a shelter from the storm and a shade from the heat." - Isaiah 25:4

This work of art by Edwin Lester is inspired by Isaiah 25:4, a biblical verse that speaks to our hearts about God's unwavering protection and relief in times of hardship. It is a divine promise, a testament to how our Heavenly Father extends His grace and mercy to shield us in our most vulnerable moments. Just as a sturdy shelter stands firm against the raging storm and a cool shade offers respite from the scorching heat, so does our Lord stand as our refuge and strength.

When life’s trials bear down upon us, when the weight of our burdens feels too heavy to carry, know that God's love envelops us, offering safety, comfort, and unending solace.

This artwork vividly reminds us of God's boundless compassion, urging us to trust in His power and benevolence. He is our sanctuary, our fortress amidst every storm, and our shaded retreat during the scorching heat. May we always seek refuge in Him and find rest for our souls.
