- Far Infrared Therapeutic Treatment: The Thermotex Equine Blanket is styled like a horse turnout blanket but has 12 patented far infrared heat inserts for providing in-barn heat therapy that penetrates up to 10x deeper into tissues and joints than traditional heating pads. After just 20 minutes of use, the soothing infrared wavelengths penetrate up to 2.36 inches into the applied area. This helps to increase blood flow, remove lactic acid and reduce pain and inflammation for better recovery.
- Prolonged Heat & Relief: Thermotex Equine Blanket is used by trainers, veterinarians, and therapists to manage pain and reduce injury in horses. Designed to provide full heat coverage across the length of the back, it's effective for accelerating pre-event warm-up, increasing tendon and ligament extensibility, and decreasing stiffness during training or as a post event treatment at equestrian competitions.
- The Standard for Equine Comfort: For over 25 years, Thermotex has nurtured and supported horses through pain management and recovery with science backed technology. Clinical trials have revealed infrared therapy's efficacy and long-term benefits for various types of pain, often left unchanged by traditional pain management strategies. Unlike a regular electric heating pad this large blanket boasts twelve removable high-grade heat inserts, delivering therapeutic infrared heat for horse therapy.
- Trusted Products: Thermotex products have attained medical device registration with both Health Canada and the US FDA while meeting integral manufacturing standards and ISO certifications for their patented products. Manufacturing in our Calgary, Alberta facility allows us to maintain complete control to ensure compliance is met and ensuring each product is as close to perfect as possible for years of performance.
- Warranty And Care: All products come with a one year manufacturer parts and labour warranty. All covers can be easily cleaned by washing in your washing machine or dry cleaning if you prefer. Remove all heat inserts and wiring and wash on a gentle cycle. Place in the dryer on low heat or allow to dry naturally on a drying rack.
