- 【Kindly Note】Keep the pressure below 30 psi to avoid activating the safety valve. For hard or reinforced hoses, apply a thin layer of silicone or grease, or use rubber/silicone rings for better sealing. Keep the plug inserted while building pressure to avoid leaks. Adjust hoses if needed—do not force adapters.
- 【Pressure Gauge with Regulator and Relief Valve】The turbo boost keak tester is equipped with a 0-6bar (0-87psi) pressure gauge, making it easy for you to see the system pressure at a glance. The gauge is fitted with a pressure regulator, which can be adjusted by pulling up and rotating to the required pressure, and locked by pressing down. Turbo leak pressure boost leakage detector tool set is also equipped with a pressure relief valve to prevent overpressurisation.
- 【Quickly Locate Leaks】The turbo charger air pressure leakage tester kit is designed to accurately detect and locate leaks in the turbocharger, cooling system and emissions system of most cars and light trucks. Whether you're concerned about loss of boost pressure, coolant leaks, or suspect a turbocharger problem, it's the ideal solution. By finding leaks in a timely manner, you can restore your vehicle's performance, improve fuel efficiency, and extend engine life.
- 【Four Pairs of Step Adapters with Good Sealing Performance】The adapters of this boost leak tester have a stepped design, each adapter contains three different sized steps for different sizes of turbocharger, cooling or exhaust/emission system pipes. The adapters are made of high quality rigid nylon and metal material, which can be firmly installed on different pipes to ensure good sealing performance. The adapters range in outside diameter from: 1.38''/35mm, 1.57''/40mm, 1.77''/45mm; 1.97''/50mm, 2.17''/55mm, 2.36''/60mm; 2.56''/65mm, 2.76''/70mm, 2.95''/75mm; 3.15''/80mm, 3.35''/85mm, 3.54''/90mm.
- 【Easy Operation】Insert the appropriate adapters into the system's air inlet and exhaust ports and adjust the pressure regulator knob to set the desired pressure. Connect the pressure gauge to the air inlet adapter and then to a shop air source to pressurise the system. Once pressurised, you can watch the gauge to see if it maintains pressure and listen for any leaks. If the pressure drops, you can easily locate the leak by hand or spray.
- 【Caution】Excessive pressure may cause damage to system components. Most vehicle turbocharging systems are designed to handle a maximum pressure of approximately 15psi (1bar) to 25psi (1.7bar). Vehicle coolant systems are generally rated for 15psi. Turbo boost leak tester equipped with 3 air tittings (US, European, and Asian Types). Always consult the vehicle manufacturer's specifications for accurate information.
